Victor Florez is an experienced soccer coach with 14 years of coaching experience, working with players from U12 through U16. He has previously coached with Weston FC and Miami Beach SC and is passionate about using soccer to make a positive impact on younger generations.
Throughout his coaching career, Victor has achieved significant competitive success, including a Commissioner Cup championship, three Dreams Cup championships, and four Weston Cup championships. He also qualified a team for the 2026 US National Championships.
Before coaching, Victor played soccer for 29 years and competed at the NCAA Division II level. His playing experience includes West Kendall SC, Miami Killian Senior High School, Georgia Perimeter Junior College, and the New York Institute of Technology. His playing accomplishments include finishing as a Junior College national runner-up and earning Second Team All-Dade honors.
Victor holds a Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education with a concentration in Sports and Fitness Studies from Florida International University.
Fun Fact: Most people thought he was right-footed, but he’s actually left-footed.
Favorite Soccer Memory: Playing against the U23 Honduran National Team at the Copa Latina All-Star Game.
