Carlos Montilla is an experienced soccer coach with 10 years of coaching experience, working with boys and girls across age groups from U5 through U19. He has coached with Miramar Sharks, Atlético Madrid Miami, Hermandad Gallega Valencia, Academia de Fútbol La Mina, and Selección Carabobo Fútbol de Salón.
Throughout his coaching career, Carlos has won multiple championships in the state of Florida over the past four years. His passion for soccer drives his approach to coaching, and he finds great satisfaction in helping young players improve while developing as individuals both on and off the field.
Before coaching, Carlos played soccer for 15 years, competing as high as the fourth division in the United States and within the youth system of a second-division club. His playing experience includes Universidad de Carabobo, Gran Valencia FC, EF Cano, San Diego FC, and Selección de Fútbol de Salón Carabobo. He also won a state championship in Valencia, Venezuela.
Fun Fact: He loves Venezuelan food.
Favorite Soccer Memory: His first soccer match, when he played goalkeeper. His team lost by a large margin, but it became an experience he has always carried with him.
