Andres (Andy) Angel is an experienced soccer coach with 9 years of coaching experience across recreational, competitive, and elite-level soccer. He has worked with players ranging from U4 through U19, with extensive experience coaching U15, U16, U17, and U19 players, including at the MLS NEXT level.
Throughout his coaching career, Andres has led teams to numerous tournament and league achievements, including championships at the Dimitri Cup, Miami Classic, Adidas Supercup, Weston Showcase, Sunshine Conference, EDP, and FSPL, as well as finalist and semifinalist finishes in the Florida State Cup.
Andres’ coaching philosophy is centered on making a lasting impact on players both on and off the field. He focuses on challenging players to reach new levels, building confidence, and creating a competitive environment where they can develop habits and values that extend beyond soccer. His continuing coaching education includes certifications in Tactical Analysis from Barça Innovation Hub and the Nacsport Analysis System, with a strong focus on tactical methodology, player development, video analysis, and performance analysis.
Before coaching, Andres played soccer for 10 years at the youth level, reaching U20 Division 1.
Fun Fact: Former professional chef, drummer, and these days usually found on a padel court.
Favorite Soccer Memory: Watching a group of players develop throughout a season and ultimately accomplish something they did not believe was possible at the beginning.
